Camp Bio:

This will be my first year at Ballibay and I am very excited to contribute to the amazing reputation of this camp. I am very much about self expression and really look forward to helping the campers take their ideas and bring them to life. I have deep love and respect for the environment and cannot wait to be engulfed with the beauty of the farm. Lets get muddy!

Professional/School Bio:

I have recently graduated from Salisbury University with a BA, my track being three dimensional art, as well as a Minor in Environmental Issues. My focus is on ceramics however I also do glassblowing and will use any material that I feel best represents what I am trying to express. I create wheel thrown vessels as well as sculptures that usually focus on the balance between people and nature, unity and consciousness. After graduation I stayed at the university as a studio tech/ teacher’s assistant. While at school I was part of the art club, outdoor club and environmental students association. I have a great love for music and have played cello, guitar, and hand drums.

About the Staff of the Ballibay Camps

A key to the success of any camping season is staff. We spend a great deal of time screening and selecting our staff before every summer, and we have been fortunate to have many talented counselors and teachers remain with us season after season. Our staff members are predominantly educators and university students from the United States, although we also have a strong international component to our staff.

Our staff members come to us with outstanding credentials: professional experience, a background in teaching, and/or exceptional skills in their specialties. Most of all, we seek good, caring people who are interested in the well-being and growth of children. We look for people who, knowing something of the competitive nature of the adult world, are excited to put those concerns aside for a summer and focus on "the journey" in a non-competitive, fun, friendly environment.
