Tilly Hindle

Years at Camp: 1st year in 2010

Department: Equestrian

Camp Bio:

Well let me get the confusion out the way with first, my real name is Rebecca, but everyone just calls me Tilly, it's a nickname I've had since I was little!!

This is my first year at Ballibay and I can't wait!!!! I will be doing horse riding for the summer.

Professional/School Bio:

I've been interested in horses from a very young age, and always liked being round them, my Grandma used to have a beautiful horse called Rosie and I would say that's what inspired me to get my own pony. I had my own pony for several years, and I loved every minute of it. Unfortunately it got too small, and i had to get rid of it. After i got rid of it i decided to focus on my school work more and promised myself I would get another one when I had finished college. I still go riding whenever I can at my local stables, and often help out on my friends stable yard.

About the Staff of the Ballibay Camps

A key to the success of any camping season is staff. We spend a great deal of time screening and selecting our staff before every summer, and we have been fortunate to have many talented counselors and teachers remain with us season after season. Our staff members are predominantly educators and university students from the United States, although we also have a strong international component to our staff.

Our staff members come to us with outstanding credentials: professional experience, a background in teaching, and/or exceptional skills in their specialties. Most of all, we seek good, caring people who are interested in the well-being and growth of children. We look for people who, knowing something of the competitive nature of the adult world, are excited to put those concerns aside for a summer and focus on "the journey" in a non-competitive, fun, friendly environment.
