Years at Camp: 1st year in 2010

Department: Equestrian

Professional/School Bio:

After school I am going to study International Tourism and Event-management.
That is why I am very interested in other countries and cultures, a hobby which I share with my family.
At the moment I am responsible for the organization and management of all events of the 13th grade which includes the last school day.
One of my favorite hobbies is my horse "Lotte". There I am very reliable, because I am the own person who is responsible for her.
Apart from that, I like sport very much. Since I am 13 years old I play volleyball in a team and for 3 years I train the beginners and the advanced players and supervise them during the games against each other.
In my free-time I spend a lot of time reading, swimming and playing music and with several animals among them my cat and my horse.

About the Staff of the Ballibay Camps

A key to the success of any camping season is staff. We spend a great deal of time screening and selecting our staff before every summer, and we have been fortunate to have many talented counselors and teachers remain with us season after season. Our staff members are predominantly educators and university students from the United States, although we also have a strong international component to our staff.

Our staff members come to us with outstanding credentials: professional experience, a background in teaching, and/or exceptional skills in their specialties. Most of all, we seek good, caring people who are interested in the well-being and growth of children. We look for people who, knowing something of the competitive nature of the adult world, are excited to put those concerns aside for a summer and focus on "the journey" in a non-competitive, fun, friendly environment.
